Description
Founded in 2006 by a group of animal loving volunteers in the Kenmare area. This has now expanded to include northern parts of the Beara peninsula and to Caherciveen on the Iveragh peninsula.
KLAWS helps over 300 animals each year which have been abandoned, lost or simply not wanted. Many of these animals are unwanted farm dogs and unwanted kittens, because nobody will neuter them, or even microchip them.
KLAWS works closely with other rescues, especially Wiccaweys Border Collie Rescue in the UK to help get the dogs a home, and a new life that is not available here in Ireland.
