Description
Cavan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a local charity and member society of the ISPCA. We are a small group of volunteers who work throughout county Cavan, investigating animal welfare, complaints of cruelty, neglect and abuse.
We are on call , 7 days a week throughout the entire year. We rescue, care, spay and neuter and provide veterinary treatment when necessary before finding suitable new homes for the animals we take in.
As we do not have shelter facilities we rely on some of our members to take the animals into their own homes until suitable new homes can be found for them. We are always looking for new foster carers.
